We’ve always read about how many ants or spiders a human eats while sleeping, but did you know how cows have accents? Ridiculous, right?

The world is inherently a crazy, weird place with so much diversity inheriting it, and it’s probably no surprise that more or less everything has a weird, crazy fact associated with everything that will leave you wondering about it.

We also had our “Wait, what?” moments while coming across some similar stuff and lucky for you, we prepared a list of these crazy facts that will blow your mind. 🤯🤯🤯

From the truth about hashtag, to Samsung butt-checking their phones, these crazy facts will leave you fanatical about these little things. 😲😲

We associate Apples with either red, green or some popular yellow varieties. But did you know about the existence of these black apples? These Black apples, known as Black Diamond Apples, are originally found in Tibet and belong to the Hua Niu family of apples, and are also known as Chinese Red Delicious. From the inside though, these apples just look like any other appetizing Red Apples, consisting of white flesh with seeds, despite having a black, or almost a very dark shade of purple outer skin.

Cows have an accent, they moo in their regional language, According to BBC, dairy farmers first detected that their cows from different herds had different moos, depending on what region the herd came from. Language experts have also suggested that cows do and can have regional accents just like humans, and that their accents can change depending on their company too!

Technically, the term is ‘Octothorpe’ which in terms of etymology, refers to the eight points on the symbol. The ‘octo’ means eight and ugh, the Instagram and Twitter Octothorpes won’t be the same again.

Talk about winning after dying. So, in 1923, Jockey Frank Hayes took off on the course, on his horse “Sweet Kiss” at Belmont Race Track on Mid Island. Unfortunately enough, Hayes suffered a heart-attack mid race and passed away while riding, and winning the race. So, when Sweet Kiss crossed the finish line, Hayes’s body was still in the saddle – making him win the race. So, not only did he die, and win the race, Hayes also made history that day!

In New Delhi, India, there exists a Sulabh International Museum of Toilets, which features a rare collection detailing the evolution of Toilets since 2500 BC. If you browse through the exhibit, you’ll learn even about the Plumbing system of ancient societies, and applaud the intricate decorations of toilets from various centuries, and you can even get to sit on a lion-shaped one from Austria. Delhi really did take getting your shit together on another level!

At times, when we’re sad, stressed, emotional, or PMSing, we tend to indulge in our favorite takeouts or our favorite desserts, and there’s a simple word to make yourself feel better about that emotional eating. Now when you’re overindulging to deal with your emotional stress, just think of “Kummerspeck” and how the Germans literally had to coin the term to validate us stressed humans. Hilariously enough, the term literally translates to “Grief Bacon” and that’s just the vibe.

Many hardcore tattoor fans are even getting the whites of their eyes injected with all kinds of colors, even green and purple. Although, you should keep in mind the health risks involved with getting your eyes tattooed. Most of the reported risks are pain, and prolonged blurred and double vision.

Named after former NBA player Larry Bird, who used to play for the home-state team of Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, the Boston Celtics, the blue bird, Larry T Bird has been officially the icon of Twitter since it was founded in 2006!


10. There’s a word for *Accidentally ate the whole thing*

The Georgian word “Schemomechama” literally means I accidentally ate the whole thing. All of us, at one point, had the intention to just eat a few nibbles of our savored dishes or treats but ended up devouring every bite of it. Well, if you’ve been there, done that, about time you spice up your vocabulary with “Schemochema”.

And honestly, same. Just Schemomechama-ing through my entire life!
